The China Internal Combustion Engine Society (hereinafter referred to as the "Society") was established in March 1981 with the approval of the China Association for Science and Technology. It is a non-profit legal entity voluntarily formed by domestic internal combustion engine technology workers. At present, it has 21 professional branches with over 15000 members and over 400 unit members. The current chairman is Jin Donghan, academician of the CAE Member, former chairman of the International Internal Combustion Engine Society, and president of Tianjin University.
